du kannst in so ziemlich jedem Griechenland-Forum – auch in dem hier (oder besseren Reiseführer, z.B. aus dem MM-Verlag) – nachlesen, dass die Fahrt mit der Metro zum Flughafen 6 Euro kostet (für 2 Personen 10 Euro). Oder mit dem Bus € 3,20. 80 Cent für die Fahrt zum Flughafen – so billig ist Griechenland schon lange nicht mehr...
Insofern waren die Kontrolleure völlig im Recht.
Auf der Seite der Metro (http://www.ametro.gr/ -> englische Version -> Metro Operation) steht was Schwarzfahren und Bußen betrifft: »Authorized personnel carries out regular ticket inspections inside the trains and in the station premises, beyond the validation machines. Passengers without validated tickets or valid travel cards are liable to pay the statutory fine (60 times the ticket price) (Law 1214/1981, Law 2669/1998, Law 2801/2000, FEK 1179B/30.08.2006). * Passengers travelling in the section between DOUK.PLAKENTIAS and KOROPI St. without having validated the appropriate ticket are liable to pay a fine amounting to 60,00 (30,00 for those entitled to reduced fare). * Passengers travelling in the section between KOROPI and AIRPORT St. without having validated the appropriate ticket are liable to pay a fine amounting to 80 40,00 for those entitled to reduced fare). * Authorized personnel prepare the relevant certificate, which states that the offender should pay the fine immediately or within twenty (20) days. * In the event that the fine is not paid immediately, offenders may pay the fine: 1. At the Fine Payment Office at Syntagma Station, or 2. by deposit at the Alpha Bank, account number (Alpha Bank)014-110-002320-004892 3. stating the series and number of the certificate, and 4. forwarding a copy of the deposit receipt by fax at 210-5194003.
* If the fine is not paid within twenty (20) days, the certificate is forwarded to the competent Tax Office (DOY) of the offender. In such case, the fine is decupled.
Any person who does not possess or does not produce a validated ticket or a valid travel card inside the trains or at the station premises beyond the validation machines, is liable to pay the statutory fine.
* For passengers travelling within the URBAN METRO NETWORK (All Line 2 stations and MONASTIRAKI to DOUK.PLAKENTIAS Line 3 Stations) the fine is set to 60 times the ticket price, i.e. 48,00 (24,00 for people entitled to reduced fare). * For passengers travelling in the section between DOUK.PLAKENTIAS and KOROPI Stations the fine is set to 60,00 ( 30,00 for people entitled to reduced fare). * For passengers travelling in the section between KOROPI and AIRPORT Stations the fine is set to 80,00 (40,00 for people entitled to reduced fare).
